Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds. ActivityLedger is sold as a recurring subscription. When you cancel, your subscription simply stops renewing — you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Payments already made are not refunded, whether in part or in full.

Because we know that is a firm policy, every account starts with a 7-day free trial. Use it to decide — you are not charged until the trial ends, and cancelling during the trial costs you nothing.

You can cancel at any time, and you keep what you have paid for until the period ends:

• Cancel from inside the app — Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription — or directly in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Your plan stays fully active until the end of the current billing period. Nothing is cut off early.
• At the end of that period the subscription ends, auto-renewal stops, and your account reverts to a read-only state.
• Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date — the app stores process renewals ahead of the period end, and a renewal that has already been taken is not refunded.

Payments already taken are non-refundable. This includes:

• partly used billing periods, including where you cancel the day after a renewal;
• periods during which you did not use the Service, or used only part of it;
• renewals you intended to cancel but did not cancel in time;
• accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms & Conditions; and
• the difference in price if plan pricing falls after you have paid.

Subscriptions bought inside our mobile app are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. We never see your card details and we cannot issue, approve or decline a refund on those transactions.

Apple and Google operate their own refund policies, and they may grant a refund at their discretion under those policies — independently of this one. If you want to request one, you must ask them directly:

• Apple: request it at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Google Play: request it through your Google Play order history.

Where a store grants a refund, the matching subscription access is withdrawn from your ActivityLedger account.

This policy is about refunds, not mistakes. If something has genuinely gone wrong on our side, tell us and we will fix it — for example:

• you were charged after cancelling correctly and in time;
• you were charged twice for the same period; or
• you were charged the wrong amount for your plan.

Email hello@activityledger.app within 30 days of the charge with your account email and the transaction details, and we will investigate and correct it.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply where you live. Where such a law gives you a right to a refund or to cancel, that right applies regardless of anything stated above.

Cancelling stops the billing — it does not delete your data. Your bookings, expenses and reports remain available to export for a reasonable period, as described in our Terms. If you want your account and all of its data removed permanently, you can delete your account from Profile → Delete account in the app. Deleting the account does not trigger a refund of any payment already made.

We may update this policy from time to time. When changes are material we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. The policy in force at the time of your payment is the one that applies to it.
